My name is Ashwin S. Kumar. I am a fourth year multimedia student at Ohlone College. My dreams and goals are to transfer to CSU East Bay and get my bachelor’s degree in multimedia, and to pursue a career in Web Design and Interaction Design. In this class I am going to learn to improve interview skills, make a good resume, and create a beautiful portfolio website. These are such my goal sets.
The softwares I currently use are Adobe products like Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Animate and Dreamweaver, but also have Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat DC, XD, Premiere Pro, Premiere Rush, After Effects, Animate, Character Animator Audition, Media Encoder, Fuse Beta, SDK, 1.4, and Camera Raw. Autodesk Maya 3D will also be needed for designing 3D objects. Photoshop is the software used to create 2D graphics and Illustrator is used to make vector graphics. Let’s say if I want to design an app, video game storyboard or website, for that XD would be useful. Premiere Pro is a great tool to edit my videos, and Adobe Media Encoder is used for rendering them, maybe even Adobe Audition to crop out the audio. Animate is used for making 2D animations. Dreamweaver makes it easier for me to develop websites. I can use all these Adobe products and put these media on my website, but will also be needing products like Maya 3D for modeling 3D objects and animations so that it is possible to put them on my website. These are my software uses and necessities.
